Edrielly is a researcher in the ABC Expeditions project, in the field of entomology.

Edrielly Carvalho has a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT, 2018), Master's degree from the Graduate Program in Zoology (PPGZOO/UFMT). She is currently a doctoral student in Entomology at the National Institute for Amazonian Research (INPA), research area: taxonomy and systematics of Scarabaeinae from the Brazilian Amazon. She has experience in entomology, with emphasis on studies of faunistics and taxonomy of beetles of the superfamily Scarabaeoidea.
