Selvino Neckel de Oliveira

Selvino Neckel de Oliveira holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC, 1993), a Master’s in Biology (Ecology) from the National Institute for Amazon Research (INPA, 1996) and PhD in Biology (Ecology) from INPA (2002). He is currently a researcher collaborator at the Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi (MPEG), and Associate Professor IV at UFSC. He has experience in ecology, with emphasis on applied ecology, working mainly on the following topics: amphibians, Amazon, conservation, arboreal vegetation and urban forest remnants.
