Renato is a researcher in the ABC Expeditions project, in the field of entomology.

Renato Almeida de Azevedo has a degree in Natural Sciences from the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM, 2014), and a Master’s (2017) and PhD (2021) in Biological Sciences (Entomology) from the National Institute for Amazon Research (INPA). Has experience in general biology, with emphasis on biology and ecology of termites, working mainly on the following topics: species diversity, soil fauna, community ecology and ecological relationships.
