Victor is a researcher in the ABC Expeditions project, in the field of entomology.

José Victor A. Ferreira has a degree in Biological Sciences (2016) and a Master’s in Environment and Agricultural Production System (2019) from the State University of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT). He is currently a PhD candidate in the Postgraduate Program in Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation, at the State University of Santa Cruz (UESC) and member of the Laboratory of Ecology Applied to Conservation (LEAC). He has experience with ecology and biodiversity conservation of bees and social wasps.
