Ivan is a researcher in the ABC Expeditions project, in the field of mastozoology.
Ivan Junqueira Lima has a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA, 2012) and Master’s in Genetics, Conservation and Evolutionary Biology from the National Institute for Amazon Research (INPA, 2017). He is currently a CAPES PhD Fellow in the Postgraduate Program in Applied Ecology at UFLA and a collaborating researcher in the Research Group in Ecology of Terrestrial Vertebrates at the Mamirauá Sustainable Development Institute. He currently works mainly in studies of phylogeography, evolutionary history and impacts of climate change on the distribution and survivability of species of small terrestrial mammals and primates.
