Cibelly Fernandes Honorato has a degree in Biological Sciences from the Faculdade Estácio do Amazonas (2019). She worked as a Scientific Initiation trainee at the National Institute of Amazonian Research (INPA, 2017-2019), in the area of plant ecology, with the supervision of Dr. Juliana Schietti and collaboration of Dr. Elisangela Rocha. Both projects (2017-2018, 2018-1029) focused on leaf and wood anatomy of lianas distributed along the Ducke Reserve. She is interested in the areas of plant anatomy, functional ecology and species Distribution. She has laboratory experience (handling of chemicals; equipment such as microscopes, loupes, microtomes, etc;), and experience in image processing with Zeiss software, Image J and Leaf Gui.
